Baby Bottle Fundraiser for Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center

Again this year, the Knights of Columbus is organizing a Baby Bottle Fundraiser to benefit the Pregnancy Care Center at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church located in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. Over the last 7 years, the generous parishioners of St. Gertrude have donated over $45,000 to help Old St. Mary's provide education and care for women during and after pregnancy. Teri Huwel - the Director of the center - shares how these funds are used to support their mission:

"Our mission at Old St. Mary’s Pregnancy Center is to save the lives of unborn children and help their moms with material supplies. Also, our counseling and daily Bible Study (well attended) helps with Evangelization.

Some of the items we provide:
• Diapers, Pull-ups, baby wipes, baby lotion, baby oil, baby wash, baby shampoo, Vaseline, q-tips, bottles, training cups, umbrella strollers, car seats, pack n plays, baby carriers, clothing (size newborn to size 6T).
We also have a Newborn Baby Packet Program, where moms receive a large bag of much needed items, after attending a class.

The money we receive is a God send, as we are trusting in God completely, and will enable us to buy the most needed items."

The Knights of Columbus will be passing out Baby Bottles after mass for the annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser for the Pregnancy Care Center at Old St. Marys Church in Over-the-Rhine. Please fill the bottles with change, currency, or checks; then bring them back when you attend mass on one of the the following 2 weekends: April 14/15 or April 21/22. Or you can return filled bottles to the parish office. The Knights will distribute 100% of funds raised to Old St. Mary's on behalf of St. Gertrude parish. We thank you in advance for your generous support of life!"
