Cookie Drive for Prison Ministry

Would you like to bake cookies for a worthwhile cause? St. Johns Catholic Church, West Chester is organizing a cookie drive in support of a Kairos ministry taking place in early September. We need a total of 200 dozen home-baked cookies wrapped two dozen in a clear one-gallon zip lock bag. Nothing else can be in the bag, no plates, no napkins, etc. The twenty-four cookies should fit in the Ziploc bag if they are no more than 2 1⁄2 inches across. You can provide any type of cookies. Also, brownies and Rice Krispy treats are also accepted. You can drop off your baked goods at the St. Gertrude Parish office on Thursday, September 5 during regular business hours and the Knights of Columbus will deliver the cookies to St. Johns. If you can help, please email Joan Siebenick at and let her know the quantity you plan to make. If you have questions, please contact Tom Hahn at 831-2386.
