Being Merciful to Ourselves - Fr. Gabriel Torretta, O.P.

What does it mean to be merciful to myself? Does it mean casting off exterior limitations to explore the true me, à la "Eat, Pray, Love"? Does it mean staring very hard at my weaknesses to be set free from self-deceit? Or does it mean something else entirely? In this video, Fr. Gabriel looks at the meaning of mercy for the self through studying the Gospel passage about the woman caught in adultery.
