Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration: Mother of Mercy Chapel Adoration Committee adoration@stgertrude.org 513 561-5954 x2136

Our “Mother of Mercy” Chapel is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Jesus is exposed in the Blessed Sacrament and rests in the beautiful Monstrance on the Altar.

Our ministry is committed to providing 2 – 3 Adorers each hour of the day and night so that HE is never left alone.  We know our Parish has — will — experience many blessings as a result of this commitment.

We ask that you contact us if you are interested in becoming part of this vital Parish ministry.  You need only spend one hour per week or month of  prayer and presence in the Chapel to help us with our “24 – 7” commitment.   We can schedule that at your convenience.

We are also in need of Substitute Adorers which might better suit your availability.  We have a notification system in place should a regularly scheduled Adorer cannot make his/her time on a particular day.  All folks on the SUB list would be notified of this need and could then respond via return e-mail .

Please let us know of your interest in being a regular or substitute Adorer via:

  1. calling 561-5953 EXT. 2136, or,
  2. filling out and depositing the small “sign-up” form in the box available in the Chapel, or, on the table in Church outside the Holy Family Chapel.

The purpose of the Perpetual Adoration ministry is to provide the opportunity for all parishioners to spend time in prayer and worship of Our Lord Jesus in His Eucharistic Presence. In the words of Pope John Paul II: “The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.”

Membership: Open to any parishioner
