Rosary Confraternity Enrollment – Nov. 21

Rosary Confraternity Enrollment – Nov. 21

Do you pray the Rosary every day?

The St. Gertrude Chapter of the confraternity of the rosary will be enrolling new members at the 11:30 am Mass on Saturday, November 21, 2020

Register to be enrolled today!

Members of the confraternity make a commitment (which does not bind under pain of sin) to pray at least the original fifteen mysteries of the rosary at least once every week for the rest of their life, and to include in the intentions of each rosary the intentions of every other member of the confraternity throughout the whole Church.  In return, members of the confraternity benefit, both in this life and in purgatory, from the prayers of every member of the confraternity throughout the world, from a share of the prayers of the Dominican Order, and, in a particular way, from the prayers of all of the Saints in Heaven.  When a member of the confraternity prays the rosary, even when he prays alone, he is no longer praying as one person, but is praying in communion with the whole church.

You can be enrolled in the confraternity whether you are a parishioner of St. Gertrude or not.  You can be enrolled even if you can not attend the ceremony, though the enrollment ceremony is highly encouraged.

If you would like to be enrolled, please fill out this registration form.  As a part of the enrollment ceremony, new enrollees receive a blessed medal, rosary and candle.  Please also consider helping us to offset the cost of these items by making a free will offering of $20 HERE, being sure to include “Rosary Confraternity” in the comment box.   For more information Email
