Pathway of Discipleship
Every relationship gradually develops over time. Coming to know and love God is no different. Every person has been loved into existence by God our Father, and he desires us to respond to his love, perfectly given to us in his Son, Jesus Christ. At St. Gertrude we have developed a pathway so that, guided by the Holy Spirit, you can know him, love him, and be SENT by him. Our pathway has four stages: Start, Encounter, Nourish, and, Transform. Together, these stages form an acronym: SENT, which speaks to the fundamental missionary nature of Christian discipleship.

The Become Catholic experience is a profound and gradual process of exploring the Catholic faith: What is it that Catholics profess to believe in the Creed? How can I find meaning and happiness as a disciple of Jesus Christ in his Church? What are sacraments, and how do Catholics pray? Through the Become Catholic process, we seek to propose answers to these questions from the heart of the Church. There is no commitment to become Catholic at any point.
