About

For over 100 years, St. Gertrude Parish has existed with one goal: to herald the Good News in our  community. The Good News that life has meaning; life has purpose. That God exists and that he loves us and has made us for love. That Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead so that we can share in God’s love for all eternity. No matter where you are in your faith journey, there is a place for you in our community. A community that is reverent, faithful, Dominican, and a family.

This is St. Gertrude.

We invite you to watch this video from our pastor to hear more about what makes our parish community unlike any other—and then come and see!

A Mother's Sorrow

Friday, February 27 | 7 p.m.

At the outset of Lent, this contemplative musical meditation centers on two strikingly contrasting settings of the Stabat Mater, the ancient 13th-century hymn that recalls the suffering of the Virgin Mary at the foot of the cross.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to inclement weather this afternoon, the parish office and our Mother of Mercy Adoration Chapel will be closing at 12 p.m. today, February 3. We will communicate any new updates. Stay safe!
