Confirmation

“Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Confirmation brings to perfection what is begun in Baptism, namely, it unites us more firmly with Christ and his Church, empowers us to witness to our faith in words and deeds, and confirms us in our identity as sons and daughters of the Father. ” (CCC 1468).

Preparing for Confirmation

Confirmation preparation typically begins in seventh grade, with reception in eighth grade. Parents who want to learn more about preparing their children for this sacrament can click the button below for all the details about our Confirmation Preparation program page.

Adults interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation should contact Tyler Castrucci or click the button below for information about our Become Catholic program.

Celebrating Confirmation

Following a suitable period of preparation, Confirmation is typically celebrated during Mass in the Easter season, although it can be celebrated at other times. For eighth graders in our Confirmation Preparation program, we have a special Confirmation Mass on a Sunday afternoon in May.
