Reconciliation
“The Lord Jesus Christ, physician of our souls and bodies…has willed that his Church continue, in the power of the Holy Spirit, his work of healing and salvation” (cf. CCC 1421). The sacrament of Reconciliation with God brings about a true “spiritual resurrection,” restoration of the dignity and blessings of the life of the children of God, of which the most precious is friendship with God” (CCC 1468).
